Snow storm at 42 degrees

Postby 870 » Sun Mar 31, 2013 5:15 pm

Man it was nice not having to drive holes in the grown so as to set the decoys. The weather has been warm all week and the bulk of our birds have moved on, I only found one field holding any birds on Fri. We were hoping for some stragglers and they showed up. Dot high some would peel off the small flocks we saw and all the ones flying with canada's would also peel off and come down. We ended the day with 28

Nice job I was hunting snows Friday and Saturday near West Chazy. I saw tons of them but they did want to play. I saw more waterfowl in a couple hours then I will see in Maine in one year. Happy shooting.

Frontier Guide Service. Been twice with them. Three years ago fall hunt and just did a spring hunt.
