then neither one of you would catch a fish lol....... :umm:

his theory is correct though, he can be 5 feet away in his own boat and i can catch fish but soon as he steps foot in my boat, the bite shuts down....

Know it's bound to have happened to most of us, but would love to figure out HOW a fella' sittin' 5ft. away from ya' in a boat,..I mean-the SAME boat, can fill a 5 gallon bucket full of Spot in 15 minutes and YOU'RE just sittin' there,.. haven't had the first hit- same bait, same rig, and you're even holding your mouth like he is.

Instant MILLION$ to whomever figures it out.

i figured you would be fishing the supermoon. always had good luck, maybe its just luck but had to try. Went early yesterday for a flood tide sunrise mission with some live peanut bunker fromt he cast net. FYI: trout love those things. caught two really nice trout around 21" but girthy, 8 flounder and a bunch of nice rockfish. soon as the tide starting going out, bite shut down so we switched to clamming. great day all and all.

Fished last Thursday and came home with 3 flounder...

Went out Saturday and didnt have that great of day...apparently there was a big fish kill up on the eastern shore a week or two ago...(anyone else hear about it??) Game warden told us about it..also said the fish we caught were some of the biggest he had seen in a while. I think all the fish were full or dead....

On another note.....caught a 3 ft huge eel...those things do NOT want to come off the bottom in structure!!

Did end up with a 22" and 20" that each of my buddies caught.

Heading out tomorrow afternoon for a bit.....

Thanks Swampy! going to try our luck again tomorrow. This will test our theory as vahunter34069483827163495403---249 will be in the boat with me so might not catch squat!

Salt haze on the lens i think. Camera on the phone definitely is not the best but it is a waterproof, shockproof one so its woorth the investment so that it doesnt end up having to be replaced 8 times a year.

I will apologize in advance. I may have to wear extra camo so the fish won't see me and spray on some Cobe-in-heat sure hope it helps. Worst case ill have to show you my fish dance....

so the curse is broken swampy. me and vahunter caught alot of nice spadefish and a nice puppy drum in a couple hours yesterday. had a blast and left them biting. Drove around and finally started to see a couple cobia AND THEN clouds rolled in and sight fishing went out the window. Switched gears and tokk the ladies to play in the water for a few and ended up treading 18 clams. clams casino and spadefish for dinner with the families. Happy 4th guys!

Great 4th! Caught probably 40 fish yesterday between the spades, drum, trigger and spot. Not to mention the Cobia that was allergic to short people and sneezing that hook right out of his grill :)

And this is what our girls consider "bro-mancing". little do they know we were simply trying to double the chance to find them some Cobia.
