Black Mound?

Black mound and the south 160. Matt sat outside the pit the last morning to get some better shots.
Well done Matt. I'm fired up for next season every time I watch it.

south 160....is that the blind the Heron hunted the second day of the DHC hunt? where he "Mississippi'ed" the truck when it got stuck?

Excellent...might have to get AR crossed of the bucket list sooner rather than later.

Now you just need to edit the blooper video from all the footage that didn't make the real deal. I'm sure there's plenty to share! :hammer:

Here's an observation...how come so many big shots up high (raining ducks)...just "why not?"

When you're killing them in the decoys it's hard to do much better. Unless you're an internet commando who can always "find the x" and talk them into giving up.

That was the north 160. I think the south 160 is where the redhead and the canvasback were killed.

Right now it is out of my price range, but it seems like these guys do it right and makes sure you have a good time. This kind of hunt is one I can only dream of. Awesome video done in good taste.

Thank you all for liking it, I can't believe everyone enjoyed it so much. It means a lot, especially since it took 7 months to finish (my fault).

In case you were all wondering, I had 84 gigs of footage and roughly 28 hours, ha. There are A LOT of funny comments that I wish I could share, but like I said, I don't think they would be appropriate for this site.

Thanks man. I'm just lucky that my father married up.
What Matt failed to show everyone was the band that was killed during filming.

Ya....I was filming and Byers' buddy killed it right beside me.

WW will back me up on this: killing a band is a special special thing for Texas boys. Hell, if we shot a band, we would probably just pack it up and go home.

He was a bit shocked when I rolled out that banded speck with a single shot. I don't think he believed me until Eb was all the way back with it.
