All is clear at my place, but my friend wasn't so lucky. He was at our buddies place in St Paul and got a big limb dropped on his truck

A bunch of Mankato didn't have power on Friday morning. The clouds last night looked really cool but brought more rain. We have a state race next weekend and need to glue our track. It needs to take a short break.

Moundsview got hit pretty hard. I'm south of the cities and there's just little branches scattered, lots of fields & yards holding water right now.

I'm in Monticello. Never lost power, just rain. My brother closer to cities lost power for 12-18hrs. Dad is NW of St Cloud and lost power for 36hrs. Lots of wood downed trees and limbs. Plenty of green wood to cut & split.

I hit the ole Miss for a quick fishing trip on Friday. Motored past a rock on the way upstream that was a little over a foot above water. 4hrs later it was fully submerged.

Gotta love how life on the river changes so quick. I got a hold of my wife and we were spared from damage o power interruption. Hope everyone gets things up and running soon. Sucks to lose a freezer full of food.

Well I'm on my way home. Hopefully life's returned to normal...on a related note I always see a good number of ducks at the Amsterdam airport. Might have try hunting Europe one of these trips.

Lots of rain at 3am today. This is the most rain I've ever seen. I'm really wondering how the water levels will compare to last year once the season rolls around.
