Hey I was just wondereing if anybody was heading out next sunday for fall turkey. I know its not as good as Spring but hey, its still turkey hunting !!

I saw at least 30 this weekend bow hunting. I saw 4 long beards that I guarantee were at least 30+ pounds, all of them, and had 11 inch + beards. Crazy...where are these guys in the spring? Of course they say that during the spring "rut" for turkeys they can lose up to 10 pounds chasing, fighting and breeding.
Hey, did you grab the blind bag with the shells when we left the truck?
Safetys, use them: If you can see red, you can get dead!

Dang i hope i can get at least one longbeard on range this weekend !! huntmq1 are you headin out sunday ?? I cant wait even though its fall I am jacked up for sunday !!!

Nope, too warm! :mrgreen: I have in the past, but not in the past few years have I went out with a shotgun to hunt 'em. I'm afraid I'll see a giant deer and not have my bow! I hunt the same area for all my "big" game.
