im going on my first public land hunt what should i expect? im going to try peach point, sam houston state park? is the wait going to be that bad and is there going to be people every where?

Can't speak for that specific area but I've hunted lots of public land all over the place and never had a bad experience.

Nothing really, the only down side was at this specific area, the best spots were the stock tanks, you had to have a dog to get your game, so I sat along the tree line comming off the bay and pass shot my birds. The guys on the tanks did better, but it still wasn't a bad hunt in my book.
