Need Advice

Looking to buy a new shotgun. My 870 is a real piece of crap so im looking to get a new gun. I need some suggestions on guns.
Needs:
-Semi Auto
-Under $1000
- 3.5 inch Receiver
-Camo Finish
Any Suggestions??

Winchester SX2, SX3, Browning silver, or better yet, a lightly used beretta 390 and have the thing dipped in your favorite pattern.

Ooh! Just saw that you need a 3.5". 390 would be off the table. Too bad though, IMHO those 390s are the toughest gas guns out there at a reasonable price point.

In that price range, you might consider a versamax, as well.

Great advice there cannon. If used isn't off the table, you may find an SBE2 in that range. I've seen a few under $1000. Also my VM has been great thus far and they just came out with the sportsman model. It's goin for around $800-$900. I've seen mixed reviews on the Mossberg 935, but it also may be worth a look.

If need be, get a plain black model to meet your price point on the gun you really want. Use it and abuse it for a season or two then have it dipped. If there is a gun you want and you pass it up for another model that was $100 cheaper, you will regret it later.
