I have a buddy that just bought the new avain X decoys which he got for cost bc the zink team comes to kansas to hunt with them and the first thing he had to do when he pulled them out of the box is Sheetrock screw there heads on I'm sorry if I pay that kind of money the last thing I wanna do is put screws in there head he loves the new base system.

The old style where the ones you had to put the head screw in and the new ones come glued and set screw already done for you plug and play Plus i have had many other type of decoys the the heads break off and had to spend a bunch to get new heads and they broke too ive had these deeks for 2 years and never had a head fall off or break even in cold weather -10 or -20 great decoys dont be scared to try em out

Yes, I would say he got left overs from 2011.

Love my Dakota's. Never hunted or seen the Avians, but with the reputation they have, I dont think I would be trading them for m Dakota's.
Theres always someone out there thats better then you. I'm that guy.

Like the look of the Avians, bought Dakotas and don't regret it a bit.

Dakota makes an excellent decoy!
But the base system on the Avian X dekes are awesome! No more packing in a stack of stands! No more wondering around picking up bases! Just pop them out and your good!
Hopefully their expand their line to include lessers and sleeper shells!
