prove to me that this gun is worth the price point, money not being an issue; or offer advice on another viable option.

I dont know, i guess cuz you can put it threw hell and will still fire. Ive shot cheap winchesters to remington hypersonics out of it. shot in 90 degree weather to blankets of snow in low 30 degree weather. you want a gun from doves-turkeys-waterfowl, this is the gun that will get the job done. I bought this semi at the sametime as i bought my 935. lets just say my 935 collects dust while this one is in and out of the gun cabinet.

Ive only had 1 problem ONE. that was the first time i went clay shooting with it was it wouldnt cycle RIO 2 3/4" 1150 fps loads. I see why since so little FPS for it being shot first this season. It would eject the shell but the other wouldnt chamber(it would leave the mag tube). shot regular loads after that and it cycles

hell i even think i submirged it in freezing water on the way to the blind and it still shot and cycled.

that good enough???

There's better options for your money than that Stoeger. You can find several used in great shape auto's and you won't even have to be convinced of how good they are. As for the other poster, I don't understand why he didn't buy 1 good gun instead of 2 that he'd have to wonder about whether or not they would be solid performers. It would've been the same money

Because i wanted a semi really bad, and I went to get the weatherby sa-08 and they didnt have it. So the only one that i knew of was the mossberg. i started using it and it jammed constantly. so i sent it in and i was working alot at the time so i had money to buy the stoeger. I never regreted buy it. selling the 935 now and i have a buyer lined up.

Why not buy a used semi?
I dont know who the owner of the gun did with it. they could have dropped it in a lake and not cleaned it properly for all i know. yes you can get a browning silver used for around 600 depending on where you find it. I found one but that one only took 3 1/2's. thats what it said on the barrel ONLY 3 1/2.

So if you dont have enough money for a high end semi and you dont want to buy used, the 3500 is where its at.

It comes with a recoil reducer, and 5 chokes. very versatility.
