Black duck decoys

What do y'all like for black duck decoys? I was gonna go with ghg pro grades as that is what my mallard decoys are that I bought last year but I have since heard bad reviews on the paint. So what are your favorite brands for all dekes but mainly black ducks as I'm wanting a half dozen before season.

They have them on Rogers but I am not sure if they are in stock yet. Can always send an email and ask when they will have them.

Although some people complain about GHG's paint problems I haven't had any issues with paint after using my GHG oversize and my full body blacks and mallards for the last three seasons. Last year I picked up a half dozen Pro Grade mallards and they're fine after one season.

I've never had any of the Avians in hand so I can't comment on them, but if I were looking for more black duck decoys I would probably buy some Pro Grades.

I have 6 GHG oversize blacks and they did the job, limited out on blacks every time I went out (limit in NJ is 1) but they look great and have held up well.

Compared to what was availble when I started hunting 35 years ago, I can't see you going wrong with most anything out there. Where, when and how you hunt is far more inportant than the decoys you use.
