I have one from the first production run. It has been a real workhorse. It will not cycle target loads, but is completely reliable with field loads. The only problem I've had was a cracked barrel ring (much like Drake reported - maybe they had a bad lot of barrels
). Even though the gun was 10 years old and had thousands of rounds through it, Remington replaced the barrel for free. In addition, they virtually rebuilt the gun for me while they had it, also for free. Can't beat service like that.
