Long Island - Sands Point Manhasset Bay

Postby GElias » Tue Aug 06, 2013 10:47 pm

Hey Guys,

Anyone have experience hunting this area? I've been hunting Suffolk and some sea duck on the south shore but was looking for somewhere a little closer to me in North Hempstead. I haven't actually met anyone who has hunted the area but have heard a lot of mixed reviews ... A few people have mentioned that the residents are a nightmare and its not even worth the hassle but I wanted to get some feed back first hand. Any info helps... Thanks!

I think you (Tool) have shared a few stories about place in CT that are similar...you KNOW you are going to get approached and generally the local constabulary are more concerned with the path of least resistance to get you to move on and appease the homeowner who are always loaded and connected and I can't hunt like that.
No teachers up there.....that's high rent up there..lot's of NFL guys, Wall Street douchey types etc....
