 The Cardinals are up 2 - 1. Did Carpenter Rock or what? :salude: Here's to hoping for 2 more St. Louis wins. This poll is not supposed to be biased ...

You both make me sad. It is a great series and gonna be close. Might get another rain out tonight. Could possibly see a snow game if we go back to Detroit. Whats the temperature up there boys?

life long cardinal fan here and some day might move to Stl. Played 4 yrs of college ball and always wanted to put on a cardinal uniform. I sure must have stunk not to even be drafted. At 50, I look back and wonder how I could have been so lousy when I tried so hard. I cannot remember seeing dominate pitching so spectacular as the cardinals were in this world series. I mean every pitch it seemed was right where it needed to be. Their control was matchless and scouting report must have been great; and including the cardinals postioning players. Puhols made at least 4 outstanding plays being near the ball when it was rocketed down the line or towards 2nd base. Everyone made great plays but duncans kid in right. I don't know if there is a place for him in the outfield unless he hits a ton.

Tigers made bonehead throwing errors that should have been routine. I don't think any of us has ever seen such errors in a world series. It was truly weird and guess the young staff didn't have the poise. Cardinals didn't hit all that well either but they did when they needed to. During the NLCS I seem to get more tense, hoping they get the job done and with the help of a few breaks but once they are in the series, I was relaxed as ever. Just getting there is the kicker. Waited 24 yrs for this and it's always great to see the birds on the bat cardinals in the world series.

Stl was knocking on the door for the past 6 yrs and it was especially good to finally see Edmonds & Rolan get their ring. I miss Reggie Sanders and wish Stl wouldn't have traded him even though he's up there in age. The man is solid. And.....The St. Louis Cardinals are world champs.
