SAM1 Wads

Postby loudnerd » Wed Aug 28, 2013 6:00 pm

It's finally starting to frustrate me that I can't find anywhere online to buy SAM1 wads online. I have been buying them from Bucksrun in the past but I have just been so busy at work that I don't have time to call during their business hours to place an order. I love to try to loads in the RSI manual but everyone calls for SAM1 wads. I am about to give up on the entire manual just because I can look on Midway or BP and order anything they have in stock 24 hours a day. Does anyone know of anywhere I can buy them online?

You can't find 5 minutes to order by phone? Do it during your bathroom break if you have to it's very easy. Most likely quicker than ordering online

What are the prices for sam1 wads, and are there discounts for large quantity?

Blackened89, I just got an order from bucksrun yesterday, 4 bags of wads and some #2 steel shot. Called the order in. gave cc # over phone, fellow figured total price up plus shipping and was done in 3 to 4 min. Got the package in like 4 days. The wads - were- well I got the 2 3/4" split and they are 9.25 per bag of 100. (Were 8.50 last year)

Is their quality any better? Last ones I got were twice as thick on one side as the other. I gave up on them. There are better wads out there.

is there a wad that you can substitute the sam1 for and still use the losd recipe for? I heard on a different thread that there were substitute wads for the sam1 but nobody mentioned what they were.

Gene Sears has the shotcups and the shot and will ship. He is located in El Reno, Ok. I buy my shotcups, powder and shot there when I go thru El Reno. Ned S
