Early goose tips?

Hey, I have never only hunted for goose. Just wanted to ask if anyone had any tips for the early season? I have a dozon silhouettes, 4 floaters and 4 bigfoots. Any tips would be awesome :thumbsup:

Scout, Scout, Scout! These are resident birds and have a pattern they follow. Once that is distrupted, Scout, Scout, Scout. Find the new pattern and hammer them, repeat. Resident birds are in a different pattern in my area than they will be later in the season. We are normally hunting smaller groups of birds over some very specific spots.

Resident birds... I did not know that. I've been seeing a few birds in a non huntable field and that's it lol. Should be a fun week! If nothing else I can always go after Dove and Grouse.

If you can take the time to find where they are roosting either follow to or from any possible hunting fields or water. You may only get one maybe two chances at them in that area before they move.
