Suggestions for a trp....

Postby ncswamphuntin90 » Fri Aug 30, 2013 11:14 pm

Okay guys looking for a trip for me and buddy to go on. Can be in the areas of Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Louisiana,Texas,Wisconsin. Basically would like a chance to shoot a nice mixed bag? Any suggestions for an outfitter or guide service in these areas looking to hunt no less than three days.

All info is greatly appreciated

Popa Duck Lodge , st. charles , arkansas

Unreal lodge, food, and great hunting. Not to mention, I've ate a few dinners with Butch Richenback there

My son and I went to Massachusetts January this year on a two day sea duck hunt. We hunted in Rhode Island one day and Connecticut the other day. We shot our limit each day in Common Eiders getting three banded males. We also killed Brant, shot at a golden eye but missed, mallards, pintail and Old Squaw.

The outfitter we used was Ocean State Outfitters in Rayham, Mass. His name is Jeremiah Brooks and his website is http://www.oceanstateoutfitters.com/. His mom lives here in NC and is a great outfitter. His duck boats are 23' long and are built for that type of hunting. Beautiful scenery while hunting and he made us feel right at home. One night he served us steak and lobster.

Would give anything to go up there and do that! Hopefully going in the next couple years!
