Any one looking for Blacks or sea ducks?

Postby Maine bird dog » Mon Sep 02, 2013 3:38 pm

New here. Live and hunt in Maine. Blacks are relatively common here. Have seen some incredible mounts here. Any taxi consider a trade hunt for a mount ?

I think that's illegal. Could be wrong though.

You can trade a hunt for a mount, provided the taxidermist is licensed.

Provided you supply the bird. Then a taxidermist can mount it for you and in lieu of a payment come hunt.
Helping waterfowl make bad decisions since 1961.

What about eiders and long tails ? Do you harvest good numbers of those ? I plan on getting back up to Maine one of these years. Shooting those BIG white tanks was very fun and something I definitely am looking to do again.
