Well we all know the Early Teal season opens up Saturday morning. My question, is it going to be worth it with it being 90+ degrees outside this last two weeks and the highs calling for 96 this weekends. I've been out scouting this last week and have seen a few birds but nothing to get me real excited yet. I'm just seeing what others thoughts are on the subject. Has anyone seen any patterns with the teal that are here?
To me, next weekend looks more promising with a cold front moving in next week. Just my opinion.
Why cant it be Waterfowl season all year long?!!

Haven't seen much of an increase, but I have seen teal around here all summer though between Omaha and Lincoln. I'm hoping there's enough around for a shoot but I'm going regardless. Hunt-nap-tailgate is the best way to spend a Saturday

Our duck season here in Alaska opened on the first. Its unseasonalbly warm here in the 60's and the worst opener I've seen so far. I move to Omaha in a month so I'm hoping to step right in the middle of the migration.
