No teal a million horseflies and 1 conservation agent great way to kick off the season. Oh well maybe next weekend would like to see some cooler air move in.

Boy that's the truth. Saw two yesterday and had two hooded teal come in the spread this morning. Suppose to be 100 by Tuesday.

scouting would have told you there are no teal.... no since in going out when you dont see any action before. simply too hot.... but next weekend its suppose to be around 70-75 so they should be moving in late next week.

I have been scouting for two months while building my blind I was going out regardless. As your tag line says: " it's not about a season total, it's about being out there". Thanks for the tip.

between work and family responsibilities some hunters are just lucky to find a few minutes to get in a hunt or spare money on gas to scout. I unfortunately couldn't go this weekend because I picked up extra work to pay my gas bill for trips during the real season. from what I hear around hear I didn't miss much. hopefully next weekend will be better and the east side will get some teal.
hey norm, did you work at Findlay ind. around 1993
