Note to self: Double check what your doin, dumbassssss! Sooooooooo, I thought I was running 1 x 6ga main tank, and 2 x 3ga spare tanks for fuel. WRONG ... I'm running 1 x 6ga main tank and 2 x 2ga spare tanks ... but ... if I were to mix it as if it were 3ga's ... RICH is an understatement!

Figured where my "extra" smoke was coming from, and lack of power ... Some octane booster and a river run wide open seemed to get me back in the chips

Have you gone through your Washington State boater education yet? If not, you will want to go through this as they will ticket you if you don't have it and get checked.

Just had CBL come over to check out my nav lights, running lights and gameplan for the finishing touches for this weekend.

Good news, only need two runner lights on trailer, not a whole new set ... and the bilge pump is 75% finished/installed. CBL is bringing over his raff grass to turn Murder inc from a diver slayer to a puddle machine... pics to come

: New pic's comin up here Gent's ... Sealed the floor up! Fatigue floor mats in ... and NOW the kicker ...

Last season, CBL and I started to take out an old Marine Gunnery Srgt ... Nicknamed "Gunny". Well, he built CBL an "HELLEVA Wood Working Bench" custom made, ... On the streets, no schit probably ballpark $700! So he says, "Murph, need anything for your boat?"
Took it over the other day, got measurements, cut the wood (Redwood!) and he is putting the unit toeghter in his shop (3car gargae filled with every wood working tool)

and ...

Looks like tomm is the big unvail and bolting into boat ... JAZZED!

Pic's coming but this is gonna be OFF THE HOOOOOOKKKKKK !!!

You'd look better running down the road if you painted the truck to match. That silver should be easy to spray.

Looks like a fun and successful project.

Yeah, coming out of Finley towards the cable bridge right by Leon's. I waved like you would know some random guy off the internet with ten post. I actually think I talked to you at Casey's a while ago when I just got my boat.

Anyhow, your boat looks good! Can't wait to see the final product.

Are you skipping shelves? Is it going to be like bins on both sides?

My gameplan is to put a top on this, with groves or a lip to hold shells, coffee mug, snacks and such during the hunt. I fully intend on coming up 3/4 the way up with cargo nets to store/secure the deek's in there. I "was" thinking bin style, but that just seemed to be a waste of good counter space once we got it in the boat.

Am also going to use a "Hard sided Blind" on this side, that also has storage, ... Believe I'll have to adjust the other side to make an entry/exit door half way, or 3/4 way back, with a swinging door to enclose the blind. The shelf you see will be the only one in the boat ... only doing one side. The other side will hold a Mud Buddy Shotgun Sleeve for 3 guns I purchased from WaMuley (Still owe ya, haven't forgot!)

Just getting crazy with this thing now, but took some measurements for a "drawer like style shelf" under the dashboard, that will lock and unlock in place, ... wide enough to hold a single burner propane stove for cooking breakfast or coffee ... The idea's are a FLOWIN!

Right now I feel like I'm kinda ahead of the game ... But don't wanna give up ground or progress with summer approaching.

Maybe do a bin style with a wood top. Double hinge it toward the inside of the boat so it will fold out of the way when getting into the decoy compartment. Then you would still have a "table" when not putting out decoys.

Yeah, that could work ... I'll look into the space I have to work with for a hinge ('s) ... I was thinking if I keep my idea of a hard side blind on that side, there wouldn't be a true advantage of a bin style shelf. But after your suggestion, ... Might want to re-think that or at least keep it as an option.

After being in a Bankes this last season, ... seeing how the shelfs did hold deeks and gear ... But when deploying them, we just pulled them all out on the floor, rather than dig for them ... I can see both as an advantage/disadvantage

Lookin' good, BBBD! Something new every time I drop in. I'm envious!

One question tho, and maybe you've answered this somewhere and I forgot, but do you hunt your dog out of this boat? If so I'm guessing you have a platform in the stern, closest to water level?

Well, actually, that was sort of a mess last year. No, I didn't have a platform for him, and he just jumped off the / or out of the well last year. Gauge does hunt in / out of the boat, and as long as he can see, he is actually not the crying whining jackasssssss he normally is! So, keeping THAT little bit of info in mind, we have decided to have, and have taken measurements to put a platform over the well for Gauge to sit, lay on while on the hunt.

Been kinda busy the last couple days, but had time to build a roll cage / storage area / bow area duck blind on the boat. She's comin along, as long as I'm picking off a project here, a project there ... summer's flyin by, and boats comin along!

CBL came over to help with the front "cage" ... One connecting cross main beam of Schedule 80 PVC, ... and 3 Rib's coming out on the bow. Where normally, we are all concerned with taking up valuable space in our boats, ... I happened to CREATE space for storage. Easily created 3-4ft wide, and 18inches high off the bow of storage space! After I burlap around the area, and then raffia grass over it, she'll look DAMN good! :grooving: ... I also picked up a boat motor cover "flat grey" from Walmart ... CBL told me that they had some at the Richland store, so I went and picked one up ... $16? Really? ... I grabbed """" 2 """" !!! Also got the mock up done for the "cage" around my motor, and measured where the "door" will be to climb in and out ... Soooooooo I'm down to 4-5 projects to feel really solid about getting her ready for Youth Season.

I'll post up before and after pic's here soon.

Waiting on 30lb's of Raffia Grass from Sterns, and I already have about 12-15lbs palm blades ... Should be able to overkill the camo to blend into any shore I'm thinking. We'll see ... Updates comin!
