Deep Fried Goose?

Postby MossyGO! » Mon Nov 27, 2006 10:45 pm

Has anyone ever thrown a whole goose in a turkey fryer? Just plucked a 12 canadian and want to try something new? Any suggestions on marinade(inject)? Is it better than oven cooked?

We fried a goose and a duck on saturday night. They came out awesome. The goose was cooked for ~ 25 minutes in 325 degree oil until the meat was ~135 degrees. We injected both of them with a honey garlic injection.

Both turned out awesome!
