Browning Silver/Winchester SX2.
They are the same gun, wearing different name tags.

They cycle EVERYTHING that you feed them, as long as the spring inside the piston isn't broken.
And if it does break, you can swap out pistons in less than a minute, without tools.

Or, you can "seal" the piston by replacing the spring inside it with an aluminum sleeve that can't break.
And the gun will STILL cycle everything that you feed it.

Name sums it up. Own a lot of guns, settled on a MODB Cynergy because it's synthetic. It's my "beater" gun for duck hunting. Never have to worry about the gun not cycling loads etc..., easy to clean, and won't wear out.

I'm a fan of the pump action very reliable cycles with ease. That being said I hunt with a benelli nova and have had zero jams or any type of trouble. Also own a rem 870 same goes for that gun.

Super sport dipped in kw-1 camo. 3" gun is all you need pattern it and go kill em.
Would also love a kw-1 a400 20 ga. Sine i m shopping with your money.
That cynergy modb wins out for pure coolness.
870 wingmaster super mag hard to find but a neat gun.
SV10 perenia ko in kw-1

Have fun wish I had the coin for new gun guess I will have to crush them with the old faithful

I've become quite fond of my new 3-1/2" A5. As much so that I got rid of my SBEII. But if I could only have one then there's no other choice for me......... Browning Jap Auto 5 Mag Stalker w/28" barrel and interchangeable chokes

I would have to agree with copterdoc... SX2. I had one, kinda needed some $ and sold it to a buddy of mine. He's getting tired of me asking him if he wants to sell it back to me! lol! I like it 10X's as much as I ever did my SBEII and even like it better than my Maxus that I currently use. Not that either of them are bad guns, there was just something about that gun that I liked better than any other.

If I could only have one I'd probably pass up my autos and go with a pump. As of right now I'd pick my BPS, but if Remington would do a little better job on the 870 super mag I'd probably pick it instead. Hmmm, that may be my next project gun. A slicked up, and ceracoated super mag.

Sx3. And I've had a lot of different guns. My buddies run benellis and the sx3 is more reliable then theirs.

Jap Auto 5 Stalker w/ 26" barrel that has been ceracoted...but I'm using my new A5 Stalker, even though it ain't my Grandpa's shotgun, and I like it as much if not more than my old H&K era M1.

What you've set up is a popularity contest. The answers will be based on what the participants actually own, not what we think is the best gun. With that in mind...

My vote is the Beretta Xtrema2. It won't come up the most because it is one of the most expensive waterfowl gun on the market. I shot one in 2007 and wanted one since that day. 2008 was when I finally gave in and got my own. Have not regretted it. It meets all my requirements.

Beretta A400 with the kick off stock, 3rd year about 5 cases 3in waterfowl loads and probably that many or more of skeet loads, no problems, well one fail to eject but that was with a rusty shell, it came out but did not clear the port, other than that great. I think it has less recoil than others I have so as the bones age I will stick with it,

Browning A5 Magnum bout as follows...
Belgium receiver
Browning stalker stocks
Hastings barrel 30inches
Gunkote or other aftermarket treatment in flat black.

That's pretty much what mine looks like.

Money no object...

AH Fox Heavy Duck 12ga choked full and full shooting nothing but 1.25-1.5 oz of bismuth 4s or Nice Shot 4s.
I could get by with a Parker or a Smith.

bought an sbe2 and never had a problem except for that goofy little button by the trigger guard. its apparently for loading out of the magazine and cycling into the chamber, just gets in my way. but other than my own fat fingers hitting it, the gun has fired flawlessly for me.
also shot a maxus.... freaking smooth and cycled wonderful minus the heavier recoil from the sbe2. i believe im going to purchase one of those as well.
hunted with a buddy who has a versa max.. he had horrible luck with it jamming nonstop, could have been the ammo or the operator??
another hunting buddy shoots the x3.. very very fast and cycles very well.. short brass and long alike.. which the sbe2 and maxus did as well.. big toss up for me.. but id like to see the browning a5 up close and personal..
i dont know who you are or where you're going, but its a race to get there!
