Questions About Preperation Time?

Postby New2thegame » Tue Dec 05, 2006 7:15 am

Ayo,

I want to know, is there a time period in which you should dress your birds after you kill them? How long can you leave them whole with feathers and entrails if they are frozen? I have only killed three this year and I have dressed them within 4 hours after the hunt? What do you think? Sometimes I go hunting on saturday mornings and when I get home I have to do other stuff and don't have time to dress the birds. Help me out! Thanks-Drew

How long does it take for the meat to spoil? :help:

I sometimes go a day or two, depends on temperatures, which vary greatly here in Kansas... GREAT info on this topic, I just learned some things about this myself, on down in this forum...
