I shot a Carlson's midrange in my 870 when I used it as my duck gun. Now I use either a patternmaster code back duck, carlson's midrange, or the factory MOD out of my Maxus. The factory MOD with 3in drylok #2 (old silver box, not the new black box crap) it shoots great! But the Patternmaster works great with 3 1/2in kents, #3 and 1. and then Hevi-Metal 3in BB for geese with the Carlson's choke.
