Got my hands on a 80's model Montauk and was wondering what you guys have done to transform Whalers into duck rigs....pics?

No pics. But I have seen a guy hunt off a 16 foot Montauk with a 60 Yamaha. Nice boat for deep water. Super stable platform. I would imagine it would draft rather deep compared to any aluminum boat. It should would work fine for most areas that are 4 feet or deeper.

I had a 13 ft Whaler with a 25 merc on it TP blind worked great...we would pull it behind the house boat, could always leave it tied up even full of water with the motor on it, you could climb in it bail it out..never would sink. Down side...it would beat the hell out of you in light chop
