My inlaws just moved to Holly Springs from Texas and they are asking us to come up for a visit this winter. My sister inlaw has 200 something acres with several ponds there and I keep asking her if she has ever seen any ducks but she does not know a duck from a coot. My question. Is this a good area to see some birds or just a duck or two.I just would like to know before hauling all my junk up there. If not then any good guide recommendations near there? I'm not about to take on public hunting in another state.
I'm sure locations are just as sacred there as they are here so I will keep my mouth shut.
Thanks in advance.

That's about 50 miles to far WEST.
