Bail outs.......

Postby Sagebrush » Tue Oct 08, 2013 6:39 pm

I hate it when a buddy can't get his stuff together !!

Had deer tags for the 5th of Oct.
Put it off until the 10th due to buddy only got a doe tag.

Now he can't balance work vs deer hunting...........

At 65 I was hoping for a little help to get the deer to the rig and hang it but looks like I
might just say the "Heck" with it and go solo.................. got to the 20th, so I guess no big thing.
At least chucker season will be open..........

Got Sierra power to turn the power on to the old school house, base camp up in Tuscarora.........
Hope to post pictures if things go right............

Good luck to all that drew tags this year.

Quarter it up.................

A friend of mine that is a "Almost Guide" that took me out for my first antelope buck, showed
me how to remove all the meat with out even touching the insides and leaving the rig cage intact.

Head and hide for a mount and meat for the table, pretty slick. Just needed a blanket to wrap the meat in
to keep the dust off the meat getting back to camp, since we had two quads.

I will take two ice chest with me in case I need "small parts".................prefer to hang a deer whole but....
what ever it takes, this year, I guess. Will bring a large onion, just incase I get lucky.

Later.
