Simmons Custom Calls

Postby Greenhead_Wrecker » Sat Oct 19, 2013 8:14 pm

I saw this company mentioned in the Best Calls You've Never Heard Of thread. Apparently they are the most realistic sounding call on the market and they are designed/made by a waterfowl biologist. Does anybody know if they are any good? The 'Naturalist' call doesn't have a sound file on the website...

Mr.Simmons does make a fine sounding and looking call for sure,I picked up one of his Naturalist calls in hedge capped with African Blackwood a couple years ago and really like the way the call looks and runs.

Scott makes some fine calls and has spent a lot of years listening to mallard hens talk and perfecting his calls. And he's one of the nicest around.

He only makes calls in the fall and legend has it that while he is tuning them it triggers the migration
