The turkeys were flying across the river and did not make it to the bank and had to swim to shore. My buddy who had the Fall turkey permit took one once on shore.

Been alot of teal around, we picked up 6 on opening day, and another 6 in the same spot the last week of the first season, and a few here and there in between.
