Beretta a400 Xplor

Postby WMTribe_Kicker » Mon Oct 21, 2013 1:25 pm

I just got my beretta a400 xplor back from camo solutions! What do you all think of them? I had a tough time deciding between the xplor, the a400 xtreme, and the browning maxus. In the end the a400 xplor just felt better to me, so I got it, and sent it out to get it camo dipped. I sent it to camo solutions and got it dipped in mossy oak duck blind to better protect it since the blued barrel would probably take a lot of punishment due to the salt water that I hunt in.

I got to shoot it a couple times before I sent it off, but I really haven't gotten to put many rounds through it. It felt amazing to me! Here are my before and afters with the camo job!

I have the same gun, minus camo. I have been very pleased with it. They did a great job on yours.

Thanks! I was very reticent about covering up the pretty wood, but i knew that I would scratch up and ruin it out there anyway so I just went for it.

Have you had any problems shooting 3.5 inch shells with it? I've read some posts where people have had problems shooting them, which is exactly opposite of what I thought they'd have problems with.

No problems at all. I mostly shoot 3" though and run Briley Chokes, as I mostly shoot an IC that did not come with the gun. I still can't believe they only sell it with 3 chokes.

Yeah i agree. It's ridiculous that they didn't come with more than 3 chokes, especially for the price. I just got a muller waterfowl choke tube and I'm very interested in seeing how it's going to pattern. I've heard good things but I have to wait to shoot it because there's a 30 day curing period for the camo dipping that I just got done

Why? Because it can't be shot for 30 days or because you don't think that I should've camo'd it?
