What are you guys using to keep where your dog spends his/her time dry and warm. Is carpet good enough? I know I wouldn't want to sit or lay on cold aluminum for a day.

I made a platform out of plywood with 2x2's for a base. Let's the water drain off the dog and it's high enough off the floor so she's not sitting in water. I had carpet on my previous platform, but it stayed wet all the time.

I bought those foam puzzle piece mats like they use in gyms. I got a pack a depot. insulates and doesn't hold water I used entrance mats from the front door without carpet. that work well also.

I use those rubber bar mats that have holes in them. Bought them at home depot and they work great
