introduction

hey guys my name is Carlos
I'm new to the forum well new ish joined last year and forgot my login looking to be more active on the forum
A little bit about me im 22 been hunting for 3 years so far i have most of the gear you need
a boat 17' v hull, dog poorly train , decoys, smaller boat 12 flatbottom, layout blind, field goose decoys. What i lack is hunting partners currently my partners are well season youngest is 61 mostly hunt around mattawa tried potholes last year and hit a log didn't know the area still dont . I woud like to get to know other people who share the "addiction" as my wife calls it and maybe go out on a hunt

Welcome Carlos, you are one up on me hitting a log in the potholes. I've run over plenty of dunes and carp but no logs yet.

Well I blame faulty electronics cause I hit bottom on 20 ft of water . But that has since been replaced

Welcome! You will hit all sorts of stuff duck hunting. I sunk a boat in my early years as I wrapped it around a log.

That's ok. I got stuck on a log for a good 15 minutes this past weekend. Most embarrassing thing you can do is get an 8 foot boat stuck high and dry on a 6 inch log.

I hit a submerged log last weekend with CBL in the boat ... 56ft of water! Water was glass, sunny day, clear ... good gawd, I about schit my pants!
