CL NY Duckboats

Just a heads up for those of you who expressed an interest in buying a boat. There are no less than 6 decent boats on Craigslist lately, some dogs, some gems, some deals, some rips.....but worth a look

I've got just what I need for boards....besides, when it comes to boards, everyone thinks they've got the Holy Grail for sale...

Slack, you need one of those classic 14 ft. sneak boxes out of PA. Lot more seaworthy than the southbay for the run you make.

oh never mind you guys out there got your heads someplace !! ha ha ha

hey slack , buying a house and it has a fireplace insert.....going to go cut me some firewood . Then I can get in on all the fancy firewood talk you guys do!!!!

What do you think the new boat of mine was for? Been towing the grass boats for years. That's what most guys used to do, but very few people tow anymore.

I have always towed my duckboat out with something in 20 ft. range. Can get real ugly out there in December and January.

Slack, got the top coaming primed yesterday and ripped all the grass rails down on the table saw. Had some long lengths of mahogany left over from a job I did. After sanding them all down knocking the saw marks and sharp corners off I am still coughing mahogany dust. Will put the parkers duck boat paint on sunday and start installing the grass rails. Then just have to build the cockpit cover. Will work on pictures
