I've hunted the same spot for central zone opener the last few years. This year there were shovelers, pintails, gadwalls, and teal in addition to the usual local woodies and mallards. I think we got a decent early push, but there will be more to come. Time will tell I guess. Good luck to all this weekend, wonder what the 30 mph south wind will bring us?

Got ya! He told me haha Went out Saturday boys and shot 8 mallards and 5 geese still a slow trickle depending on where your at and its funny we saw 10 times more ducks than geese that day. The geese weren't even coming to the field and we pulled them from a mile off and it was at around 11:30 when we did this but did see a ton of migrating ducks coming in and moving out.
