Best addition for the 2013 season (Pics)

Postby netminderSea » Fri Nov 01, 2013 4:52 pm

What's been the best addition to your bag of toys, dogs, calls, decoys or gear this year?

I've only bought a call so far but planning on a new shorty and maybe a sneak boat. I don't have a pic of the call but it's a familiar one I'll post later.

What new addition have you guys picked up with high hopes it will help you bag more birds or just enjoy the time out in the blind more?

I got a decent pair of bootfoot waders, which has made a significant difference in comfort in the blind at least.

Alittle right now, but only wearing half socks and one pair ... well worth a couple bucks

Well, this year I own my first simi-auto, Versa-Max and I got my first little duck boat, only a 12 footer, but I think it will make all the difference in the world. Nothing fancy and I could still use a motor, oars kind of suck. I'll be getting a trolling motor next!

Sitka Hudson jacket. Coming back sopping wet from a hunt is a thing of past! Now if only I could find some 3mm waders in tall sizes I wouldn't sweat my nuts off all the time...

Best addition would be my wife as a duck hunting partner she has been deer hunting for 3 years now but this is the first year she took an interest in duck hunting. As far as gear i got new waders new camouflaged jacket system both cabelas brand and a final attack layout boat.
May your birds fly low and your aim be true!

Waiting for October....

Anytime you can bring your wife out to the blind is a bonus - nice!
