Water was high all year. Tractors don't float. Ya, will be hard to hold birds. Nothing but water and buckbrush.

Why not head to Carlyle? According to the d-bag blowing up the du boards hunting has never been better. Sounds like some "censored" "censored" "censored" fuge'er trying to teach some poor sucker a lesson for asking a question about the lake. Gets kinda old. Don't want to give up any details then don't reply. Seems like every year people are getting more and more hostile and inappropriate towards anyone posting a question as basic as this.

Sorry I don't have anything to offer, I'm hours from either lake. Tired of the bashing and just needed to vent. Main reason I observe more than I contribute

Where is the hostility in this thread? I think I answered pretty straight forward as to why there are no crops planted. There are a few ducks left after the opening day fiasco. Now it is very limited as to where to go to kill a few birds. THere are a few good stakes and a few good spots on the west side. Going to have to be lucky or stay overnight. No hostility here, just the way it is.

Nothing hostile about the thread. I got a little worked up after a few cocktails. I was referring to a few "other"boards
