Hello, New To The Forum

Postby Tera Lanczak » Sun Nov 03, 2013 7:23 pm

Hello Duck Hunters and Dog Enthusiasts,

My name is Tera Lanczak, I am the owner of Bay Blue Kennels. My kennel is a year round training facility summering in MI/OH and wintering in Giddings, TX. I specialize in training young retrievers for hunting, hunt tests, and field trials. I began training dogs 12 years ago having produced retrievers competitive at a young age in the National Retriever Championship (NRC), National Amateur Retriever Championship (NARC), The Master National (MNH) and The Grand Hunting Retriever Championships(GHRCH). I have had several articles published on the subject of developing and training young competitive retrievers and am included in the team of The Retriever Field Trial News to write the National Retriever Championships BLOG twice a year. http://2013narcblog.theretrievernews.com/Feel free to check out my retriever stats at http://www.baybluekennels.com/about/accolades/ as they speak for them-self.

As I browsed the duck hunting forum I noticed there were many questions about how to fix certain dog issues and questions on where to gain information to begin the training of your canine companion. I know I could be of service to you all offering my expertise to help anyone who needs it for any problem you maybe experiencing. Please feel free to contact me or check out my website where you will find my contact information http://www.baybluekennels.com I enjoy sharing my knowledge even if it only helps one dog not be mistreated and trained to their fullest potential. I am open about our training programs and list specific program outlines on my website for your convenience. I also offer many training videos via my you tube channel which you can access from my website http://www.baybluekennels.com/video/training/. Everyday I publish a dog training article, known as, "Tera's Training Tip Of The Day" on a BLOG. The BLOG offers tips, hunting stories, pertinent canine health news, and hazards updated daily. The blog also posts to facebook and my other website

rivecountry Thxs for the warning. I noticed the nastiness when I was browsing. All I have to say is, "Ignorance is blissful," and BS stops when the four paws hit the ground! Those who really care about their dogs will find me.

labsforme I will tell them you say Hi, but you will have to send me a pm of your real name as I am not good in deciphering handles.

Thanks for having me.

Wecolme Tera :welcome: . You will find that once in awhile someone has nothing to say so they just type to stir the pot! Being a person who is training my dog by myself, I have learned a lot from the guys and gals who truly care.

Hey Tera, I'm a pro as well and welcome. Most of the people asking for advice on here won't take it anyway but good luck lol. I have helped a few and even met some great guys from here in person(rivercounty,quackandstack6, probably a few more I can't think of) and have got a couple client dogs from this site. All in all is a good site but sometimes you just have to shake your head and move on. Entertainment factor is good sometimes.

Are you coming to Cheraw this month? Haven't looked to see if you have any running in the Nat. I'm going to try to make it at least one day to watch a few dogs run. I'm only about 2 hrs from Cheraw. I'm mainly a HT/hunting dog trainer but have a young Grady bitch that will give the Derby a shot this spring, hopefully.

Thanks for the Welcoming everyone!!! I look forward to sharing with you and enjoy the entertaining conversations.

I will be leaving for the National Retriever Championship soon. I have once again been invited to join the Retriever News Team to provide a LIVE BLOG coverage of the play by play action of these fine animals we know as the Retrievers. Hope you can all join in the excitement by following our coverage. The competition coverage of the event will begin on Sunday Nov.17. However, we will be BLOGGING prior to Sunday about some of the meetings, cocktail party, and other cool happenings that surround this momentous event in the competitive retriever world. So come one come all and share the fun.

Here is the link to the site: http://www.theretrievernews.com/Nationals/NationalChampionship/2013-NRC---Cheraw-SC

Here is the link to the past coverage we did in June: http://2013narcblog.theretrievernews.com/

Watch the BLOG coverage as the best of the best compete against one another arriving at the WINNER after the six days and ten series of tests!
