New to DE waterfowl hunting

Postby bkram22 » Mon Nov 04, 2013 8:43 am

My buddy and I hunt together quite often; but we are both originally from eastern shore of MD. We have hunted a lot of MD spots and are fairly comfortable there. We wanted to start hunting some DE spots this year preferably in sussex county. You guys have any suggestions for us?

you can have some good shoots at the very tip of the Reedy Point Jetty. If the tide is up and the wind is right it can be an all out slaughter. Not to many guys hunt it cause its a little bit of work to get to.
Theres always someone out there thats better then you. I'm that guy.

Prime Hook, Assawoman, the Nanticoke River and the Inland Bays around Indian River Inlet are the main attractions is Sussex County. Bring lots of friends and buy an OOS licence every year.

Thanks everyone. We did the blind drawing at Camp Barnes last weekend. It was a good learning experience. Really nice area, nice people, and nice blinds. Only probably is the ducks weren't flying. lol

We say quite a few rafts of migrating birds and some teal here and there.
