Migration

Postby Fsbirdhouse » Mon Nov 04, 2013 11:07 am

Alright men!
Stand by for action!
Am seeing a considerable increase in migrationg Swans over the last few days, and this change in the weather from yesterday to today should see things really begin to kick into gear.
Some of the DU boys up the valley from Blackfoot have reported seeing Snow geese and Honkers using the fields together, and a slight but noticeable overall number of geese moving down into our area.
More cold weather should put the finishing touch on bringing about a peak to the ducks moving in, and should be coming in good numbers. Hope the summer surveys were right?

Would like to see those daytime highs drop into the thirties and no higher though. More Snow.
