I recently sold a rifle to a guy in Texas and needed to ship it to him. Went to the UPS hub in Tulsa and they told me I had to go to a UPS store to have it packed first because they didn't have a box big enough. So I go over to the UPS store and let them know I am bringing in a rifle, one of the most awkward things I have ever done. It cost $26 to have that sucker packed!! $26 for a box and packing peanuts, I couldn't believe it. Now I am thinking that it will cost $50 to have it shipped....nope. $16 to ship. It blows my mind that I can ship a 5ft box weighing about 8lbs to the Gulf of Mexico for $16 but for the box and packing peanuts it cost $26. I am not complaining about the price (should have packed it myself but I was in a hurry), I just thought that was wild.

Gas station dont make any money off Gas. Its the pop and jerky that makes them money.

Ups store makes their money of packing.
