Is that the little gray/red bottle that comes with guns?
Why do I shoot 3.5" for geese? Because they don't make a 4" yet!

I haven't seen it offered, I might still have the bottles that came with my Benelli's, if I do and you cover shipping, you can have them.

Anything specific you like about this oil? I tried it in 3 different guns and did not care for it.

So why not use Remoil, Breakfree, FP-10, Hoppes, or any of the other easily available gun oils out there?

The Benelli oil is a very light oil, Benelli's are very particular with their oil..

So what happens if you don't use thier "special"oil? Does thier "special" do all , shoot anything, better than all the rest, shotgun not work or something? I doubt Benelli oil is all that special, probably re-labled breakfree or something, after all they are in the gun buisness not the oil buisness. Breakfree and Remoil are pretty light as are most gun oils. I bet you could find something you like out of Cabelas or BPS catalog. Just saying life would be easier than chasing the "Benelli Oil" ghost around. I bet millions use something else on thier Benelli's and they work just fine.

You know I am sure you are right but since I am not in the oil business either I will stick to the mfg recommend stuff. One thing I do know if you spray Remoil in your Benelli like an 870 you gun WILL jam..

The Benelli oil has a fine drop nozzle so you can make precise drops so don't over oil your gun.

Found my benelli oil in the basement today, going to give it another shot since it seems some people out there really like it.

It's a free country, if that's what you want. BTW I have had several cars with well over 100,000 miles and I never used the manufacturers brand oil in any of them. Boy I must have dodged a bullet with that call. Got many a year on my guns without using the X brand oil also. Just lucky I guess.

Used Remoil a lot with no jams. Them Benelli's soud like pretty touchy guns, not like something I would want in a duck blind. Maybe the 870 is just a more reliable gun? Wait for it......Here is where I get an ear full telling me how you can dunk it in pig mess and it keeps shooting and it is the best gun ever made blah lah blah... :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:
