Mallard Machine

Postby MT_2511 » Thu Nov 07, 2013 6:29 pm

Hey guys I bought a Mallard Machine this year and I have been using my boat battery to power it, but I have a question. Is there another battery out there that I can use to power this thing for a normal 4 hour hunt? I don't run it constantly, but I do keep the water moving. I have thought about getting 2 of the batteries that you put in deer feeders and wiring those together to give me 12 volts I need. Have any of y'all found a smaller battery that will work?

I do have another question for ya. Have you ever tried one of these batteries for the MM or just going off the fact that I need a 12v battery and these fit the bill? Not trying to be rude or anything I'm just curious?

I have a buddy who got one. Pretty sure it's the one that Macks PW sell's but not 100%. Use it every once in a while when in the boat.

It should have a nominal power rating (Watts) somewhere..

Hours = (12V*8AH) / Power(watts)
