Season pics so far

Postby stealfeathers » Thu Nov 14, 2013 7:21 pm

Can't post pics from opening day because the pictures are very revealing about where I was, but opener was a 3 man limit of ring necks and 1 gadwall. Here's the rest of the pics

Not bad at all steel! Good to see redheads in the bag this early.

To make them fit right, you have to re-size the pictures manually with Microsoft Picture Manager before uploading them to Photobucket if you want them to fit right.

It's a pain in the ***.

your pics are 1023x765. you might want to resize them down to 800x600. your using photobucket, just click on the edit button then click on resize. you should be good after that.

Little unusual to have this many mallards to check out my blind, but this is the nice bag my son and his buddy put on the water at my blind while set up for bluebills. Must have been the fog and heavy shooting in the nearby impoundments that got them to commit to blackhead decoys.

Nice shoot

That top pick of geese looks like migrators. That's good to see rather than residential. Wednesday when it was cold and windy I saw alot of migrating geese and they were using some accessible areas but I scouted them Friday and they were gone. I'm guessing they either teamed up with residentials in town or went back north due to warmer weather.

That first photo was from early October so I'm guessing they were residents. However, I did see some lessers yesterday morning in a wheat field...

We had 2 somewhat successfull goose hunts during September. Mine are smaller than yours that's why I assumed they were migrants.

Btw the gun with the stock sticker is not mine. Fyi

I felt the need to throw that out there. Not that it matters

Mayhem. Do you know tsamp? He's a good guy. Most pics I'm posting he was apart of. And with the way he blows a goose call he rates to rock a stock sticker of his call maker.

I, on the other hand, don't.
