puddle duck spread?

Postby tjosterh » Sat Nov 16, 2013 5:37 pm

What does your puddle duck spread consist of?

I mainly only put mallards out in my spread, but I would like to include some different species of ducks as well...
Give me some of your opinions, this is in Central NC...

thanks,

I only ever used 3 wood duck decoys in the wood duck hole. added 2 gadwalls and 1 greenwing to that, and every now and them a pair of mallards. was all I ever needed, and I hid the deeks in the swamp under some driftwood and moss.

Sounds about like me, I hid mine in a hollowed out log. Only put 3-4 out and one attached to a jerk string.
