during the second half do you guys have better luck hunting cut corn fields or rivers, or cut corn fields near rivers? I have never hunted fields for ducks in the second half/ or have the gear for it? is it worth the effort to get the gear? any thoughts/advice?

I have only hunted fields for crows and early goose. I did go one time with some others to a late season goose hunt and it went well.
I just see more in water settings than in fields-- but I see past posts and posts from other forums about people in NH doing far better in fields. I always keep an eye out when scouting metal detecting fields, but I just never see them in the fields I go by.

I have been doing better in hayfields this year for what ever reason the geese aren't hitting the corn the way the should I don't get it??? but the geese love the hay so ill keep killem in it if they keep showing up.
