Centex duck hunting partner

Postby killinducksformydog » Tue Nov 19, 2013 12:31 am

I have been hunting in the area for 4 years through school looking for a partner to get out and kill some birds with. I have my spots around town i am just getting tired of trying to be a lone ranger out here hiking to the blind. I have a 2 year old lab that is seasoned up and I want to get him more birds in the water. shoot me a message i am up for anything.

Centex is a pretty broad area, care to narrow it down a little bit?

I just get tired of hunting alone honestly. Outside of hunting with Matt Saturday, I have hunted alone every day this year.

You make it seem like you've hunted 50 times alone instead of the 8-10 hunts. :crying: :crying:

Hunting alone sucks...way too much work for 6 ducks. I just stay home, or go deer hunting when nobody can get away.

With that said, a Sunday morning hunt is open for me down South, and also a Monday morning hunt up in the San Angelo area.

We have the exact opposite problem... Too many guys want to hunt and we just can't hunt 5-6 guys every time!!

Having birds usually helps you find a hunting partner...

Gotta be holding alot of birds to be successful with 9 guys... Even if everyone is a crack shot!

Personally I like hunting with 3 guys, but it seems that never happens anymore.

I live between belton and killeen. I usually hunt at stillhouse and sometime fort hood. Lately I have spent most of the time at still house just because its closer and i like to hunt during the week and I have my sweet spots that have been doing pretty good. I am down to hunt anywhere my only issue is gas bc I am trying to knock out the last 2 semesters of school and let me tell you it has been hell. shoot me a text if you want to hunt- 832.574.0677

I live a little bit south of Dallas. Don't know if that's CENTEX or not, but if it is, keep me in mind for next season or the very end of this season. Just too much traveling for work right now to make it out I think. I've got a 14' boat, a kayak, and a few dozen decoys to contribute, and I don't mind a tough hike or hard work to get into a spot with potential.
