Has anyone hunted pine creek outside of Galeton before, my family has a new cabin along the creek and i will be up the whole week of thanksgiving. I seen a few ducks now and then over the summer on the creek. I would like to get some hunting in during the week, however i didnt know if its worth while taking my stuff along up and not see anything.

Never hunted up there but i have hunted near wharton for ducks. Very few woodies in the early season and after that nothing. Maybe a merg or two around. In the couple years i have hunted up there its hardly worth the effort. Find a swamp near the creek and you would have a good early season spot. Ask locals if they know any beaver ponds or area beavers use. This almost alway leads to wood ducks
