I have the Avery Ruff JR and have hunted a few times with it. I feel like it is not very sturdy in the marsh or on the training field. My dog knocks it over 95% of the time when leaving on a retrieve. Any suggestions?
Make sure the legs are angled out leaning the direction the dog is going to exit the stand. This prevents the stand from flipping. If the dog jumps off the end where the legs are not existent, there is no support to prevent the stand from flipping. I know that's sounds strange, I couldn't think if another way to word it
