Today I got a surprise look what decoyed in. And I almost blew it got it with the third shot

there has been rash of woodies taken this year i know of 5 them so far. congrats what parts of town not giving any specifics...

looks like a stuffer to me nice bird...

MOB, I hunt on the Gila river on the west side near Jackrabbit, there still water in there just got to put miles west of the bridge

man i hunt the same area, i hunt around arlington west of the 85 there.

Nice Job! Mob is right this is more woddies in the valley than I have seen in 9 years hunting here.

My oldest boy and I hunted Friday, Saturday over decoys Friday was full of action Saturday was a bust today being Sunday we hunted a alfalfa field with a flooded corner scratched out 11 mallards all drakes one being a juvenile and one greenwing hen we also had 4 wood ducks all drakes hit the decs I let my boy shoot but choked I have never seen wood ducks before last weekend when I got the one pictured is any one else seeing them

We are seeing more this year than the past 4 years. We have bagged 5 this season so far at gila hollows duck club and are still seeing them around.

For some reason one pic loads on its side weird, got these pics from my bird guy almost done just some aiir brush work left then it comes home, it sits on a piece of root that broke a water main were my buddy works I think it looks cool, what you guys think?

Looks awesome! I really like the standing poses on wood. I have a pair of mallards standing on a piece of snarl like that. I took it out of the Gila where they were shot. It looks real good. congrats!
