Yes- very bad news. We know one of the families...good people. I also happen to share the first and last name of one of the fellows lost- my phone has been busy with texts and calls into the night last night asking if it was me.
One of the major challenges with this event is the search area expanse. It's over 20 miles as the crow flies from Clayton Lake to the north end of Chamberlain- not exactly a manageable area- even in good conditions. Very cold Friday and Saturday night up here- let alone the Allagash. I'm praying.
